Steven J. Kherkher

Partner Steven J. Kherkher manages the Zyprexa docket for Williams Kherkher. Originally designed to treat schizophrenia, the FDA required Eli Lilly, the manufacturer, to place a black-box warning on the label beginning in 2004. This was in reaction to studies showing a possible link between Zyprexa and diabetes.

Prior to the Zyprexa docket, Steve has managed a number of pharmaceutical dockets, including Fen-phen, Vioxx and Avandia.

Steve earned his bachelors and masters degrees from the University of Houston. After that, he attended South Texas College of Law, where he graduated cum laude.

Steve has been practicing law for almost two decades, and is licensed in New York, Pennsylvania, Texas and Arkansas. He also is a member in good standing of the Houston and Texas Trial Lawyers Associations, the State Bar of Texas and the American Bar Association.

John T. Boundas

John T. Boundas, a partner at Williams Kherkher, co-manages the firm's Zyprexa docket. This controversial drug, manufactured by Eli Lilly, has been linked to diabetes. Moreover, recent charges have been leveled that Lilly's scientists knew dangers existed, but refused to disclose such research data to the FDA.

In addition to working on the Zyprexa docket, John co-manages the Vioxx, Paxil and Avandia dockets as well. John also tried a number of the firm's Fen-phen cases, eventually helping to settle nearly 7,000 of them in 2006.

John holds a bachelors degree from the University of Michigan and a juris doctorate from Iowa College of Law. Graduating first in his class in law school, as well as earning the 2nd-highest score on the state of Texas' bar examination, John went to work for the prestigious defense firm Fulbright & Jaworski. In 2001, he joined Williams Kherkher.

John is licensed to practice law in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Northern and Western Districts of Texas, as well as the Third and Fifth Circuit Courts of Appeals.
